It is that time of year... time to start Laffy Taffy Friday! :)
If my students do well with read to someone during the week, on Friday they get to eat and read Laffy Taffy jokes to their partner and then we have book sharing time.
I started this 2 years ago as an incentive to well and also to "lighten" up my assessment day! My students love it and at this point in the year, they are usually able to read the jokes on their Laffy Taffy! ;)
